PRIVACY POLICY

At Shake, we keep things simple. We aren't interested in hoarding your data; we just need enough information to do our jobs and stay in touch.

1. Who we are

Shake Studios Limited (Company No. 05672592). Our registered office is 6 Park Avenue, Carshalton, Surrey, SM5 3ES. For any data-related questions, you can reach us at info@shakestudios.com

2. What we collect and why (Our Lawful Basis)

We only collect what we need to run our business and fulfill projects. Under UK law, we process this data based on "Legitimate Interests" (running and improving our business) or "Contract" (delivering work we’ve agreed on).

  • Contact Info: Your name, email, phone number, and company details when you submit an inquiry. We use this to reply and discuss work.

  • Project Content: Text, briefs, and assets provided by you to complete the work.

  • Technical Data: Your IP address and site usage data via cookies to keep our website running properly and see which pages are useful.

3. How long we keep it

We don’t hoard data forever. If you’re a client, we keep your info for the duration of our project and for a reasonable period after (usually 6 years) to satisfy UK tax and accounting rules. If you just send an inquiry and we don't end up working together, we'll clear your details out after a year.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We only share project data and contact info with the essential third-party software tools needed to run our business (such as cloud hosting, accounting, and AI production tools used during design and workflow). We ensure these platforms comply with UK data protection standards and do not misuse your data.

5. Your Rights

You’re in control. You have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the info we have on you.

  • Ask us to correct or delete your info.

  • Object to us using your info.

6. How to complain

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled things, please talk to us first. If we can't sort it, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
