EXPLAINER VIDEOS
I turn services, product walkthroughs and workflows into engaging visual stories using 2D/3D animation, motion graphics, diagrams and video. The aim is always the same: make tricky ideas feel simple, clear and easy to understand.
Whether you’ve got a clear brief or just an idea, let's turn it into something strong, on brand and ready to use. Contact me.

Animated Explainers
While a product video focuses on physical specs, an explainer video is about the story.

I specialise in taking ideas, services or business processes and turning them into clear, structured visual narratives. This isn’t about the nuts and bolts; it’s about making sure your audience understands the value of what you do and how your workflow fits into their world.

Using a combination of 2D animation, motion graphics and diagrams, I create a visual language that represents your brand and helps simplify your message.

Whether you’re onboarding new users or introducing a disruptive service to the market, my explainers provide the clarity needed to bridge the gap between a complex idea and an informed viewer.

Types of Explainers
I produce a wide range of explainers, depending on the message, audience and platform:
Service overviews – Breaking down how your business or services function and why they matter.
Software walkthroughs – Visualising user journeys, dashboards and workflows step by step.
Concept visualisations – Turning abstract ideas into tangible motion so people can “see” the concept.
Internal communication explainers – Educating teams on new policies, processes or strategies.
Product and component explainers – Showing how products, parts or systems work with clear visual depth.
By using animation, video, diagrams, audio and purposeful pacing, these explainers show how something works, what a service does and why a product matters. They’re widely used for walkthroughs, onboarding, training, product launches, internal communication and any situation where clarity is essential.

When needed, I can use AI to create characters, settings, or visual elements that would be too expensive or time-consuming to build conventionally.

The Process
Every explainer project starts with understanding your product or service, your audience, and how the video will be used. That lets me advise on the right length, visual style and level of detail.

Once requirements are set, I develop a plan—ranging from a simple outline for shorter clips to a full script and storyboard for larger pieces. You review and sign off this structure before I begin the build phase.
I then handle production: crafting 2D and 3D assets, motion graphics, artwork and integrating any necessary filmed footage. After the visuals are locked, I add voiceover, sound effects and music to finalise the piece.

We build in structured review points so you can give feedback without derailing timelines. The project stays on‑brand, on‑message and on schedule, without unnecessary back‑and‑forth.
FAQs
Do you work with small and large companies?
Yes. I work with startups, SMEs and established brands. Most clients are smaller teams who need reliable creative support, but I also deliver specialist explainer, animation and video work for larger organisations.
Can you work with our existing footage, artwork or assets?
Yes. I regularly enhance and repurpose existing footage, graphics, 3D files and brand assets through editing, design, animation and image manipulation. Existing materials often provide a useful foundation for explainer content.
Can you produce animated & filmed content?
Yes. I create animation, motion graphics, 3D visuals and filmed content, and many explainers use a blend of styles. I choose the approach—or mix of approaches—that best communicates your message and fits your brand.
Do you support early-stage prototypes?
Yes. 3D renders, technical animation and explainer videos make it easy to communicate features and ideas long before physical samples or final interfaces are ready. They help teams and stakeholders understand what’s coming.
How long does a typical project take?
Most explainer projects take one to three weeks depending on the scope and number of deliverables. Timelines are always clear from the start, with agreed milestones, so you know when you’ll see drafts and final files.
What types of explainers do you create?
I specialise in animated explainers for services, SaaS platforms, technical products and internal communication. That includes product walkthroughs, service overviews, onboarding and training videos, process explainers and concept visualisations—everything built to be clear, modern and easy to understand.
